Bilco Basement Doors
Basement doors are ideal for access to basement storage areas and for moving large items into finished basement areas. The wide opening allows storage items such as deck and patio furniture, and large items such as pool tables and furniture, to be easily moved in and out of a basement. Doors meet IRC 2018 building code requirements for emergency egress in finished basement living areas and feature weather resistant construction.
Classic Series – Primer Finish
Add the convenience of direct basement access and get the full use of your home. BILCO basement doors allow homeowners to add code-compliant living space or storage areas to their home. Large items such games tables and furniture for finished areas, or pool supplies and patio furniture for storage areas, move easily through the wide opening of a BILCO door.
Classic Series – Powder Coat Paint Finish
BILCO Classic Series steel basement doors are now available with a factory-applied polyester powder coat finish. The polyester resin provides a durable, weather-resistant coating. Cured at higher temperatures than most wet coatings, the result is a tougher and chip-resistant coating, providing both a decorative and protective finish.
Ultra Series – Polyethylene Construction
Ultra Series doors provide safe and code-compliant basement access, weather-tight performance and easy operation — all with virtually no maintenance. The Ultra Series door will never rust, rot or need painting. It’s simulated wood texture and pleasing driftwood color will complement the exterior of any home and the interchangeable side panel inserts allow homeowners to easily add light or ventilation to their basement areaway.
Classic Series SLW – Steel – Primer Finish
Type SLW doors are designed for installation on areaways with sloped sidewalls built into the homes foundation. Doors can be installed on sidewalls of brick, stone, block, or poured concrete and are supplied with instructions and hardware for proper installation.
Precast Basement Entrances
Consisting of a precast concrete stairwell and either a Classic Series or Ultra Series basement door, PermEntry is the fastest and most economical way to add convenient, direct basement access to any home. PermEntry is ideal for new home construction or remodeling projects and can be delivered and installed in just a few hours by a PermEntry dealer.

Basement Door Keyed Lock Kit
Buy on-line! Enjoy the convenience of locking and unlocking your Classic Series BILCO basement door from the outside. Install a BILCO keyed entry lock and save the trip into the basement to lock or unlock the door. The keyed lock kit is available to all steel basement door models and is not available for Ultra Series basement doors at this time.
Foundation Plates
Foundation plates can be used to improve an areaway’s appearance, cover rough masonry, reduce the inside areaway width, or for side support in corner installations. Formed plates are prime-painted steel and are now available with a factory applied powder coat paint finish.
