Fabral honored with The Orion Environmental Stewardship Award
Beginning in 2007, Orion Energy Systems has handed out the Orion Environmental Stewardship Award as a way to recognize the positive impact that manufacturing can have on the environment in their communities as well as nationally. The award recognizes environmental benefits derived from the power reduction calculations created by a company’s decision to move forward in a sustainable direction. Fabral has now been honored for their commitment.
These figures validate Fabral’s interest and dedication to improving the environment. As a result to Fabral’s decision to reduce power consumption, Fabral has created 194,109 kWh in power reduction, 118 tons of airborne pollutant avoidance, and energy conservation equating to 36 acres of new trees planted annually. Many awards recognize one-time accomplishments; the added value of the Orion Environmental Stewardship Award comes in honoring a positive impact that will continue to be realized for years to come.
